Associate Interior Designer, up to £40,000, East Kilbride

Bell and Swift are becoming the “go to” consultancy for branded, large-scale commercial refurbishment and are about to announce another large-scale refurbishment project, as a result of this continued success and growth they are now looking to grow their team with the appointment of an experienced Associate Interior Designer. This is a new, senior role which will be a key part of the management team working alongside the Director’s to deliver fantastic projects, pitch for new work and develop project leads.
A key aspect of the role is managing the day to day running of the studio, ensuring the team deliver the highest quality of work, therefore you must have experience of managing a design team, as well as being the client point of contact, including regular on-site visits to monitor progress in a project management capacity.
The role offers a great balance between helping shape the strategic direction of the business as well as being hands on leading on key projects, from concept through to delivery.
You will have significant high end UK interior design experience, having worked on large scale commercial projects preferably within hotels or hospitality. You will be strategic, but equally adept at managing projects end to end and will have excellent commercial acumen. Experience of the management and development of staff will also be required, technical skills include AutoCAD, Corona Renderer, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft packages.
