Sales Administrator– £25,000 St Helens, Merseyside

Rainbow HR are delighted to be working with Universal Arches Ltd- UAL (part of The Kaliber Group) to recruit a Sales Administrator for their site in St Helens, Merseyside.

The Kaliber Group is privately owned, with a £9m turnover, comprising 5 well respected and successful businesses, which provide the trade with niche and premium quality glazing products.  The ambition is to double the size of the Group within 5 years and Universal Arches plays an integral part in this.

Do you have excellent communication skills and are you comfortable dealing with people at all levels, as well as the ability to multi-task and work effectively and efficiently?

The successful individual will be responsible for representing the company in developing excellent relationships with existing and potential customers through an informative, efficient and friendly service. This position requires a team player able to interact with all departments.

The main aspects of the role are -

  • Follow up on quotes, outstanding orders
  • Assisting with day-to-day office support including systems set up and development
  • Provide a high level of customer service to ensure complete client satisfaction
  • Develop relationships with customers responding to their questions efficiently and courteously
  • Administrative support within the sales department
  • Processing orders, allocating stock, creating sales paperwork
  • Despatching job orders and sales order or arranging collection

What we are looking for -

  • Efficient communication regarding quotes, market trends and customer updates
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • A good understanding of the sales process
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and a determination to surpass performance goals
  • A team player with drive and determination to eventually be customer facing
  • Sound administration skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills, to include Microsoft Office
  • Organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload to meet customer requirements
  • A high level of numeracy, with the ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly

This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, accuracy, problem solving and understanding of time critical work is vital.

The role would suit someone with a minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably from a production/sales background
