Salary - circa £50,000, high OTE with bonus/profit share, car allowance (with fuel card), company credit card and genuine progression up to board level for the right person.

TEAM Ltd are a sector leading commercial building, glazing and roof maintenance specialist whose customers include schools and hospitals, retail, hospitality, and property management companies, they provide PPM, project and reactive works covering -

  • Roof replacement and maintenance
  • Facade replacement/inspection/investigation
  • Glazing inspection and repair

The company has grown under the leadership of the MD who led a successful buy out of the business and are now looking to employ an experienced Business Development Manager to assist in moving the business forward on their next stage of growth, and to allow the MD to concentrate on other areas of the business.

With a well-established customer base this role will appeal to those with a strong sales and account development background where you are adept at seeking out, developing, and winning sustainable business, coupled with managing and growing existing accounts through consultative and solutions-based selling. Ideally you will come from a construction, maintenance or engineering sales role involving technical input.

You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and be comfortable with travel as this is a hybrid role with regular time spent at the Queenslie, Glasgow Head Office, regular travel to clients is required. TEAM operate from modern office premises with free parking, an onsite café and shower facilities.

Naturally, you will have excellent sales skills, commercial acumen, solid business development and customer skills with great attention to detail.

TEAM have an extremely high client retention rate, this has been achieved through delivering great service and providing clients with quality outcomes, the new BDM will continue in this vein.

This is a pretty rare opportunity with genuine career advancement up to board level, the MD will act as mentor and provide the support and development needed to ensure complete success, he is keen to support and guide staff to ensure they reach their best.
