Interior Designer (Project Lead), salary circa £40,000 depending on experience, East Kilbride

Bell & Swift are an established dynamic interior design studio based in East Kilbride, near Glasgow who specialise in designing quality, creative solutions predominantly with the hotels and hospitality sectors. Now in their 5th year in business, they continue to forge an excellent reputation in their chosen markets, along with being an authentic brand who are renowned for the delivery of an excellent client experience.

They have established themselves as the go to consultancy for large-scale branded refurbishment projects, working with well knows organisations including Marriott, Accor and Hilton along with other international brands. As a result of this continued success and growth they are now looking to grow their team with the appointment of an experienced Interior Designer Project Lead. This will be a key role as part of the thriving team to take the ownership of the delivery of some fantastic projects. The position is based in East Kilbride and is not suitable as a remote role or where regular travel to East Kilbride is an issue, there is flexibility on start and finish times ie starting between 8am-10am / finishing between 4pm-6pm.

The role is highly project focused, from creating concept designs in collaboration with the Creative Director through to engaging with the client and managing the project implementation.

You will be fully accountable for every aspect of the project from concept and developed design through to technical design, specification and delivering projects to completion with construction site services.

You will have a minimum of 5 years high end UK interior design experience on large scale commercial projects. You will have a proven track record of managing projects end to end.

(Please note the 5 years’ experience must be gained within the UK, we are unable to progress applications where experience is outside of the UK).

You will have impeccable attention to detail, be assertive in style and have a laser focus on excellent client engagement.

You will be an outgoing and engaging individual, with excellent organisational and people management skills.

Experience in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential as well as strong creative skills with a keen eye for detail.

Please note the role does not have any sponsorship or visa support and you must have immediate ongoing right to work in the UK with no restrictions, therefore those on a study visa or candidates on a time limited graduate visa are not suited to this position, neither is the role suitable for an internship or trainee
