Senior Estimator
Our client is one of the UK's top construction, refurbishment, fit-out, and facilities management businesses. Based just outside Glasgow in modern facilities they have ambitious growth plans and a healthy order book, Rainbow HR are delighted to be working with them to recruit a Senior Estimator.
This senior role will oversee the complete internal estimating process on contract values typically ranging from £50k to £3.5m, less than £50k is worked on by other teams but overseen by the Senior Estimator, all works are estimated for all divisions of the business, thus we are looking for someone with estimating skills across building, joinery, FM etc. The estimator will also deal with M&E quotes from sub-contractors and build these into the price.
Eque 2 Estimating package experience or another similar such as “ConQuest” is required, applicants must have extensive estimating software experience.
You must be comfortable with take offs from drawings and building net rates from 1st principles, with the ability to deal with competing deadlines and handle multiple work streams at any one time.
Aside from experience you must be good with people, the company has built strong relationships with clients and wish to continue to see these relationships grow and flourish.
